You can easily get the high-quality coal to glow using an electric coal lighter. Put the fuel cubes on and after 10 minutes at the latest you can smoke your shisha. You need a gas burner  or a coal lighter for these coals - the natural coal does not contain any quick-igniting ingredients. This means that it is not possible to light the cubes with a lighter.
